The 1st phase of Nokia Email Campaign had been live last week!
I took this project as an art director, designer and flash developer in a tight schedule, finally got it done.

Convert Vietnamese text from Unicode to VNI encoding in AS2

I faced a problem of using a Vietnamese font in VNI encoding in Flash, when the text need to be loaded from a CMS back-end. The case was to keep Vietnamese Unicode encoding text readable in a specific VNI font. So I wrote a function which convert the text from Unicode to VNI encoding:

Prototype of Layer51 - Bunch of Actionscript classes

This site has been around for 8 years, a basic layout, basic functions which allows member to share their actionscript classes. You can save a lot of time on development in any Flash project by using existing classes. Currently, most of classes are in AS2.

Scrollovers - A nice html link effect

Using just one Javascript file and some lines of styling code, you got a nice rollover effect on your link text, which looks like made by Flash. Kinda fun!
